The 6th Spot!!!!

Ok we spoke about this briefly at the last session and here is the post as promissed.

Our three options are as follows.

Option 1 - Leave the spot empty.
This basicly means that for now and untill otherwise decided by the group the spot will remain empty.

Option 2 - Find another permenant member.
This option speaks for it's self also, find sombody new to take the spot.

Option 3 - The Cameo spot options.
This option as disscussed would leave the possition open for cameo apperances. A cameo apperance would entail various people at varios times steping into the game for a session or two too play a role, but not takeing a full time spot in the group.

I voted for keep the spot empty.
Quite simply because i'd rather play in a small group than a large one.

While the idea of a cameo spot is cool, i have a feeling it will be full all the time, all be it by different people.

If this sopt were filled occasionally by a key 'npc' fleshed out by a real player, this would be a cool idea.

But i think just a random sixth person every month would be an excersise in fail.

I am all so over the 6 man group for 4e.

It just bogs down combat too much.

But i still do like the idea of being able to get some fresh blood in now and again.

I understand Patty's point. I too feel like a smaller, tighter group is better. I am a big fan of small, tight things. But I do like the idea of having cameo's occasionally. So I voted appropriately. If Brooke decided that she was in a position where she could play with us again I would like to think that we could accommodate her, etc.. Maybe some mandatory cosplay for the cameo spot? Something like this?.....
