Ok Guys here is the sign up for the next session.

At the moment we will pencil it in for Saturday the 18th of September.

At my house again starting at 6pm

Please let me know you're availability asap.

And as for the drum fed auto shoty well, if its out there then gunmetal city would be the place to find it.

i'm in, 'twas fun, by the way the us army has a belt fed, tripod mounted, full auto grenade launcher with a 60 round per minute fire rate. could also be fun

I was talking with a mate who is into warhammer and he's seen the Expendables, too. He reckons that this drum-fed thingy is probably the real-world equivalent of a Bolter: now, from my Space Crusade memories, bolters weren't quite that savage. So I looked up the weaponry in Dark Heresy and yeah, the description of it is very close, but in Dark Heresy anything Bolt is Imperium-only.

The combat shotgun entry describes that they are usually drum-fed anyhow, and as they come under the SP range, that is the one I'll go for. The description also is very close to the weapon I saw in the film; I assume the more gory effects come from the types of rounds used. So yes, Matt, Gunmetal City is the place to be. Assuming I survive my current mission/quest/thing then I'll hunt down the best gunsmiths and spend time finding a nice reliable accurate model.

Doc - I agree it could be fun, but who's gunna carry the bastard? As it is I'll probably have to make up a sling for the shottie. If we had a vehicle of our own we could store shit in, etc, that would work - could even put a mount on top of it.

Just as a ref Lance, Bolters are like an assault rifle that fires mini RPG's at high valocity.

When it comes to brutal by fluff it doesn't get much higher then then the bolter.

LOL yes I have seen that picture at James' house. Awesome.

Also, I doubt the velocity of normal rounds wouldn't do the damage I saw this fricken weapon do to those poor bastards in the movie. I assume some kind of hollowpoint or explosive rounds tore those guys in half and pulped heads. Will have to figure it out.

I heard from Gaz he may not be joining us this session. Are we still on?

As a point of note, usually we have a meet time of 18:00 and a start time of 19:00. It's to get settled and bullshit out of the way. Just so we know.

Gaz and JD had located some clues through some aggresive bureaucracy, if they are useful or not remains to be seen.

And Lance has learned that nothing ruins an evening stroll through the sump pits like a las wound to the chest.
