House Rules

The winner of ME.2 will be the first team to have 10 tiles at the start of a round or the team with the most tiles at the end of 10 rounds.  Any draws will likely be decided by battles the details of which to be determined if the need arises.

ME.2 Will be broken up into 10 rounds, each round will last three weeks in which all battles for the round must be played.  The rounds will begin with a games night to be held when most teams are able to attend.  If teams are unable to attened they must organise with there opponent a suitable time for the game to be played prior to the next games night.

Efficient revenue You may reroll any of your revenue dice once this turn.

Ambush Reduce your opponent’s max special or rare choices by 1. You choose which.

Workers' Strike Make someone's next tile cost one more empire point than usual (like the opposite of building boom)

Arcane Tomfoolery Take one extra spell [no extra dice, just an extra spell]

Nobody Calls Me Chicken! Earn yourself the right to refuse a challenge this round [your would-be challenger must then challenge someone else, one use only]

Pushing In Issue your challenge first, regardless of your initiative order.

Pants Play Your opponent for this round has to play the game with no pants on or they recieve no empire points or revenue this round.

Points Size of games to be determined at the start of each round.

Individual games may deviate from set points value for the round as long as all players involved agree.

Scenarios AKA Pitched Battle

The Scenario to be played at each round will be determined randomly at the start of a round prior to any events being chosen or challenges being made.

Fixed Buildings.These are buildings that are not constructed by player but begin the game in preset locations and who ever controls the tile gains the benefit.

1 of each of the following buildings will be placed at the start of ME.2

Wizards Tower:  1 bonus power dice during your magic phase. (Note: this dice counts towards your power limit.)

Emperors Tomb:  Generates 3d6 gold revenue per round.

Stables:  +1 to first turn roll. (Note: this bonus stacks with any other bonus.)

Engineers work shop:  When a player attempts to take control of a tile owned by the controller of the Engineers work shop they must first roll a 3+ on a d6 before expending the points.  If the roll fails they are unable to take the tile.

Land Tax:Each round of ME each player must pay a land tax to further fund their Realms war effort.

Each player must pay one gold per tie they own not including their capital.

In addition to this they must pay one gold for each building they own including fixed buildings but not including their capital.

Any tile that is no longer connected to there capital via friendly tiles is no longer instantly lost, instead the land tax required by that tile is increased by x3.

If a player is unable to pay the full amount of required land tax for the round then buildings and tiles must be discarded (at the players choice) until the required land tax drops to an amount the player is able to pay.  (Note: Fixed buildings cannot be independently discarded but rather the entire tile must be discarded.)

Paying the land tax is the last action to be performed each round.
