Character Gen Session

Friday 12/8/2011

Ok starting at around 6pm at my place.

I dont need everyone there at 6 tho if you get there when you can say before midnight that would be fine.

The aim of the night is to get as many characters generated as possible and all so have a bit of a play around with the mechanics so people get some idea of how the game plays.

If you are interested in coming please post here and all so add an estimated time that you will arrive.

Hi Dan,

See if you can do some reading and get a few ideas in your head about what you would be interested in playing.


As i side note for people i spoke to Clem and my Bro and aparently they will be there on friday night as well.

NOTE:
If you want electronic copies of the books bring a mem stick on Friday and i will give them too you!

Ok thanks to everybody who showed up last night and looks like we got some interesting characters in the mix.

Congratulations to Tim for wining the little mini game (by default), I realise there wasn't much rp involved in it but as i said it was really about showing you guys how deadly the combat can be. Also as a side note in hindsight i have realised we did a few things wrong (like weapons with speed 2 take 2 cards tho shoot which is most rifles) also the way the dynamite works and a couple of other things but we can work on that.

Ok where de we go from here?

Well Next Friday the 19th i am going to put the sign up post for the first session which at this stage looks like it will be on the 27th. There will be five spots at the table and they will go first come first serve to people signing up. How ever there will be a preferance to people who;

a. have there character info topic started in THIS section
b. people who have sent me a character history.

So that means if i put the sign up post and i get responses in this order from player "a", "b", "c", "d", "e", "f" and "g" and player "c" and "e" havn't sent me their histories then "f" and "g" will get spots in the game over them even tho they signed up later.

If we start having issues with players having to miss games to often due too lack of spots i will come up with a fair solution but for the first session thats how it is going to be.

i will keep the card/dice i got last night and build with those points.
also i have got all books, so i just need to know what books are the ones that tell me what goes where for. pace. ect.

also. joker is not automatic what number you want. its ?d12. you draw another card for its value. Smile

I notice in Law Dogs none of the weapons have a speed attached to them. Is it just assumed that all rifles have a speed of two and all pistols a speed of one?

I dont think these electonic books are the proper classic books, its weird. They are almost the same but there are subtle differences.

Guess i will have a bit more of a poke around.
