right. im looking for a hermes van that will fit our crate.
if possible i would like it to have chameleon coating or or an equivalent ability to put a logo onto the side. eg magnet sign or room for one.
if possible a rigger adaptation. not required but would be nice.

I reckon with that info I can get Tosh to find out if there is anything on the guards or other workers there that we can exploit. Even to the point where, and I know that corporate police forces would monitor prior offenders differently than standard parole of today's understanding, if a couple of the workers have a record we can do a set up job off site and get them arrested leaving the business short handed. We could get our fake data into an agency that the company hires from when they need people on little notice.

Just a thought.

now if we are doing the hollow crate trick we can try and get an rfid# eraser into the sheath. = tags wiped.
note. security tags can not be done this way.
so our operatives need to get close to the crate so we jd Flux can get into the node.
now if we have our dummy crate put next to the crate we are after we can just fill it with rfid# and have jd Flux piggyback on them.
Secure RFID's, as stated above, could prove to be interesting to overcome but nothing we can't handle.

I really like the idea we just need to think about it a little more as that one has been done to death.

"I have already asked Columbo to pull info from that available on site and I am yet to take a dive into their system. Once I have I should be able to provide you with 'all the datas' on all personnel attached to the site."

Ok i need to start making some sense of this shit so we can progress forward.

For arguments sake we left of at about 0300hrs on the 28th.

I know Canyon spent 2 hrs doing a visual sweep of the area with drones looking for vans ect but for the rest of you im not 100% sure.

Flux is +6hrs after registering that sprite and has Colombo set to do some sniffing when the place fires up in the morning.

from now on if you are performing an action rather then just talking about please preface it with;

I AM DOING THIS;

so i know its action rather then hypothetical.

Ok well aside from the botched first aid attempt and the healing. My time has been spent doing little to nothing.
Having just read through the entire 8 pages of posts up till now I am as confused as shit as to what the fuck we are doing.
Seriously almost tl;dr
I did however read through it all and found out the time and ideas appear to be cyclical.
Right so from what I can figure is that you guys still need me mainly in the role of casting illusion and maintaining that for me and Dash and being the physical person on the site to make contact and be the mage/muscle there when we need to do the switch.

As for all the surveillance tampering and drone/sprite involvement I can't offer much help.

Further to my idea on the illusion scenario, we could do this with out needing to replace the crate and just make them all think it was still there. Some creative stock rotation on the night could cut out that part of the job.

Please directly explain to me where we are at now with thinking as I will look more closely over the next day or so. If I leave it too long you guys seem to come up with a million fucking things that leave me scratching my head and nuts.

As I am at work I don't have info on hand. Dan could you check Stability and Diagnostic please? I don't think we can just add all that to the Dice Pool like you previous posted. I will probably just thread edit to 3 maybe 4. So software 4 + edit etc..

In the mean time Matty I would like to do a trial run on the illusion side of things with me and Dash.

I will be using Physical Mask:


Physical Mask
Illusion School Properties: Realistic, Multi-Sense
Physical Spell Touch Range Sustained Duration
Drain: Force/2 + 1 (round down)
The Physical Mask spell requires the caster to touch the subject. The subject assumes a different physical appearance (of the same basic size and shape) chosen by the caster. This alters the subject’s voice, scent, and other physical characteristics as well. Anyone who might see through the disguise must first successfully resist the spell. Simply make one Spellcasting Test and use the hits scored as the threshold for anyone that resists at a later point. Physical Mask creates an illusion that affects technological sensors as well as the minds of viewers.


Both the spell on myself and Dash would be force 3.

My force 3 sustaining focus would maintain one of the spells (probably Dash's) whilst I would have to actively sustain the other.

Dice pool is 19 for Illusion spells.

With force three for both.

Drain being force/2 +1

Willpower 5 Charisma 2= Dice pool 7 for drain.

Can you just help me through a trial run with dice rolls?

Physical Illusions: Physical illusion spells create actual images or
alter physical properties, such as light or sound. Physical illusions are
effective against technological systems, assuming the caster achieves
enough hits to meet the Object Resistance threshold (p. 183). They
are resisted by Intuition + Counterspelling (if any); non-living devices
do not get a resistance test. The spellcaster must generate more hits
than the observer for the illusion to be considered real. If the spell is
not completely resisted, the character is fully affected by the illusion.

Page 208 core.

I don't think Dash's stats enter into it if he is a willing participant and being that sensors can not resist would force 3 be enough for most peoples spell resistance? Do you think guys?

Stability page 234 core ann
A sprite can use this power on the node it is in, or on any particular
device, program, or icon. Stability prevents normal malfunctions or
accidents from afflicting the target (including both standard glitches
and those induced by the Gremlins or Accident powers). Stability also
reduces a critical glitch to a standard glitch.

Diagnostics page 233 core ann
The Diagnostics power allows the sprite to evaluate the inner workings
of an electronic device. The sprite must be present in the node of the
device in question. The sprite can then assist someone using or repairing
the device with a Teamwork Test. Make a sprite rating x 2 test;
each hit adds 1 die to the character’s test to use or repair the item. The
maximum dice bonus the character can recieve from the teamwork test
is equal to that character’s skill.

i know you dont add them all.
but in the end thats how many we roll.
so we get a maximum bonus of 4 from any roll.
unless you ask Mr. Gasket to do it in which we get an extra 5 per roll.

so what we could do is work with the spirits in order to achieve our goal in half the time.
so Mr. Gasket and myself doing one crack and you and foxy doing another.
many options to consider. your the master controller doing this so ill let you decide if you want your sprites doing this or not.

well with 19 dice in the sorcery pool your looking at an average of 4 or 5 hits which will mean a successful cast with two raises

the drain value will be 2 and with a resist pool of 7 statistically speaking you should get the hits to completely cover the drain.

As long as you managed to cover all the drain your cast pools would be the same for the second time around.

Actually rolling it out as a theoretical test is pointless because the outcome means nothing and fate is a dirty dirty whore who likes nothing better then to build you up so you have further to fall.

Matt, can I ask what would be the anticipated response time of the police to this industrial area? This obviously wouldn't account for SHSL's own security forces or associated affiliates.

Depends on what was reported really but your looking at somewhere between 2 - 30 mins.
