| Character history. It's a bit long and needs Matts OK but I'm trying to make it interesting and still fit with the story/setting. Character info to come - Spoiler:
Micken the mad they once called him. Though before that, he could not say what his name was. His first memory is waking in the cellars of the high temple to the alchemists, hidden away in the hills where only the alchemists guild lived. He can only remember that he was there to steal their prize artifact. The potion of holy ascension. The one and only elixir created over centuries and believed to bestow on whoever drinks it the powers of a god. Micken was there to steal it and take the power for himself. On the morning of the imbibing ceremony that marked to completion of the elixir Micken sneaked into the great hall where the elixir was kept only to be confronted by the guilds high counselor. Luckily enough, Micken new the counselors weakness. He was 105 years old, frail, blind, deaf and had mistaken Micken for a scribes apprentice. With great skill Micken used this to his advantage to masterfully stab the man several times in the neck before taking his walking stick and then kicking him down a rather long series of steps. The guild, alerted by the screams of the old mad falling down the steps, pursued Micken who had already downed the contents of the elixir.
Micken soon found out that fleeing from the temple was not so hard after all. Several times cornered by his pursuers, he discovered they walked right past as if not to see him at all. Locked doors seemed to dissolve away, or to be more accurate, Micken himself seemed to dissolve into smoke, passing through doors and walls alike. As these realizations slowly came to Micken it seemed that his memories of the days before disappeared. Fleeing the temple walls he found the voices and shouts of the guild seemed to follow him down the mountain, even when when the walls of the temple where behind him and when no alchemists where in sight the sounds of their voices and thoughts still rattled in his head. The voices of anyone he met in fact. Town after town Micken ran to, fleeing the guild that would surely be hunting him. Trying to find somewhere quite, insisting the people were thinking to loudly. It was soon after he received the name Micken the Mad.
Micken knew he must find somewhere far away to hide and a new name. Micken the mad only exposed him as the mad thief he was so after much thought he decided on a new alias to hide his ture identity, Micken! (the sane). So then he decided traveled to somewhere distant and faraway enough for his enemies not to find him. The realm of faraway sounded like it might just be far enough for him to find refuge. Upon arriving in faraway, Micken found the realm to be in a state of turmoil and civil war. Hearing a rumor that a king by the of Blackwell was offering holdings and lordships to those who could help fight for his claim the the land Micken decided that this could be the opurtunity he needed to gain enough power to keep his enemies away from their revenge on him.

| Yeah sounds good so far. If you want to add a part on how you convinced the king to grant you land and title that would be good too. | |

| Maybe should be posting this a bit earlier than on the game day. but here goes - Spoiler:
Seeing the offer of the royal decree, Micken rushes off to join the battle for black well. But when he nears Iron Ridge find's the camps of Bold Stoneheart's men. They are enjoying their last meals before the battle on the next day. Battle fields have never been to Mickens liking and this opportunity seems to much more Mickens's style. Under the cover of night and with many of the men asleep Mickens set's to work his masterful plan. In the morning, Bolds men wake to find several of their high born commanders heads a top spikes by the camp site with the bodies of some of the men who had been on patrol duty dead on the ground. Their necks slit and the bowls and entrails spread across the ground, writing the message 'your defeat is coming' In the morning Micken simply watched as the camp entered a brief chaos as men many men up and fled.
After the battle had been fought Micken went to find (the some what hungover king Blackwell) to tell him of his deads
'Your grace, King Blackwell. My name is Micken, a simple man... Nobody really. New to faraway land, I herd your call to the Iron Ridge defense and though I did not make it to meet with you personally before the battle it is not to say I didn't do my part for your cause. The morning of the battle I managed to scatter quite a few of Bolds men, and take the heads of some of his high born commanders.' Micken produces a large wet sack, dripping with blood. Pulling from inside it the head of one of Bolds men. 'There were more, but they seemed to do the most damage instilling fear into Bolds men while they remained outside his camp. Men have trouble following the orders of their leader when their missing their heads, I've found. Again, I had hoped to meet with you before the battle, but as you can see I surely played my part in defending your realm and now feel entitled to the reward of you decree promised. Surely you can the value of a man like myself could be to your realm.... you grace.'

| Re the house you received as reward from the King. Here is an image to give you an idea what they look likeEach house is set on a 3/4 acre block in the nicer area of Castle Blackwell, but outside the walls of the keep obviously. Each house has one large living hall, a small anti chamber, a small study/library, four bedrooms, and a kitchen. They also include a separate outhouse, small stable and servants hut. Each house has a live in servant family of about 4 or so members who act as groundskeepers, cooks, maids and butler. | |

| HoldingsIron Ridge Region:- Lake town fish market:
If it's fished up in the lake, chances are it will go through the market. The fish markets tern a decent profit, just don't stand down wind of them.Smoked fish is a staple of the Iron Ridge diet. While the hard mountain folk may be known for the iron they dig from the ground, its the fish from the Lake town markets that provide the bulk of the iron in their diets. Man needs to eat, so what ever the humble fishermen of Royalwell can pull up from the lake will be sold. The fish markets are almost a civilization in themselves but with your new title as "Lord Fishmonger" you are due 10% of the coin that changes hands here. The average monthly income is about 350g.
- The Old Trade Hall:
The trade hall is a musty old stone building in the center of Blackwell town. Traditionally, visiting merchants would set up here to trade goods for the local stone and iron. It was also the site of the original treasury prior to the construction of the fort. The Old Trade Hall sits in the very center of Blackwell town, its massive frame overshadows many of the neighboring buildings. In years past it was the epicenter of the iron trade in the region but these days it occasionally sees use as a storage place for traveling merchants. The building does house a decent vault from it's days as a gold store and also three prison cells in the basement. The building is looked after by a caretaker known as ol' Gampy and generates about 100g per month.
