Private actions
This rule relates to declaring action your characters are performing during out of session times. If you wish to perform an action with out the other players characters knowledge the action should be prefixed with [Private Action]. If an action is labeled in such a way the other players should understand that there characters have no knowledge of these actions by default and acting on these actions would be considered meta gaming.
Example;
[Private Action] - Captain Donk orders a member of the Kings gaurd to deliver a message to Rivering.
This action has now been performed and it is assumed that no characters apart from Donk are aware of the action.
It should also be noted that some actions, no matter how private are difficult to conceal. So labeling an action as private does not guarantee complete discretion.
Example;
[Private Action] - Captin Donk orders a work group of laborers to carry out repair works on the walls of Blackwell Castle.
The above action is difficult to hide and in a very public place. Because of this, it is possible that the action will not remain private, regardless of the original characters intention.
If as a player, you think your character has fair reason to have observed any [Private Action] being performed by another PC, make a post to me detailing your reasoning and i will make a call one way or the other.
Example;
Keeper Moose lives in Blackwell castle and walks around the ground on a daily basis. I would assume he would see the work group preforming their task and when he did, he would ask them who ordered it.
Any way...
Any questions re this let me know.
