Ladies and gentleman,

I come before you to request your assistance in suggesting improvements to these forums to the betterment of all.

I ask that you use this thread to list any suggestions that you can conceive would benefit us in any way, shape or form.

All serious posts will be given due consideration while posts from Patty and other people of the ilk will be met with violent rape in the form of extreme surprise butt sex.

But seriously Matt is always keen for feedback and is chiefly concerned with striving for improvement where it can be made. I'm all for it and I know you guys have ideas you want to voice.

It would be interesting to see if we can change and add titles in peoples avatar section.

While I can understand the want to change the structure of the site I am afraid I can offer no constructive advise. I would like to see a neater way of organising discussions with possibly more subsets. For the most part I think the site works ok. I mean to what extent do you want to increase activity on the forum. Also I must ask If you feel that others will use the site more if you make it even more convoluted.

Shamus can you elaborate on your interest with regards to "a neater way of organising discussions with possibly more subsets". How convoluted do you feel this forum is at the moment?

Are you sure convoluted is the word you ment to use?

I... cant see it myself.

Right. It's not convoluted now so much as it is a little bit messy. Please keep in mind that I'm a crazy neurotic who is anal retentive and has no knowledge on how to build or reconstruct a website. I just like the word convoluted. No but seriously I like the way it is now. When I said that I wasn't sure, and I still aren't, what other features you could possibly add. The way it is I could see that some people who use the forum would get home from work and think "I have 10 minutes free I'll check the forum". Get on it go through, from the top, obout thirty percent of it and move on to something else. I'm the kind to check everything on the page every time i'm on. I know it states whats been updated and when but I check older posts incase I had forgotten there was something I wanted to add at a later date. If there is too much more on the site I myself would begin to find it tedious work checking discussions in several different catagories. Thats not to say I'm not looking forward to new add ons that are humorous and links to cool shit. As for how to make it neater in a way that would satisfy me, if i knew how to do that from one thing to the next I would live a lot happier life. I often know what I want just not how to achieve it.

So in conclusion I have no helpfull advise I just wanted to feel like someone was listening to me. Remember I am married so that is an unfamilliar feeling to me.

Shamus from this point on if your going to post a wall of text can you preface it with a note informing potential readers if there is going to be a point or not by the end of it.

Preface: There may be no discernable point to this text.

Matthew... All I was doing previously in this thread was thinking in text. I have sinse spoken to JD and have a bit more understanding of what his intentions are in regard to the expantion of this site. I am all for a medium in which we can gain external imput. I was just trying to give my opinion to a topic I have very little working understanding of. As redundant as that may seem, at least I was making an effort. In future If you want only practical and constructive input could you please preface the discussion with a disclaimer. Before you say anything I was using the proverbial "you" not refering to Matthew Young specificaly.

As a point, the changes you have put up today look ok.

When a "thing" is concluded we can probably compact the threads into one channel.

For example now that the mighty empiers thing is done we can probably compact all the threads down into one main channel.

This is one of the ideas I was trying to discuss with JD earlier. I like that idea to neaten the site a bit.

What do you mean poorly constructed ramblings. I am more articulate than most. Although I will concede to being a vaginasaur.

We have no prizes for articulation but I'm sure we can work on that if need be.

Also, if you want to quote someone then that is what the 'quote' button is for. You'll notice its use in the events thread where I reposted for you in the correct fashion.

Yeah I did that and the deleted it. I'm not blind, but that little quote box annoys me. Not being picky just thought that would be fine.

Ok peeps, I am doing some research and have spoken to some web designers about the website, the software and hosting. I think I'm on the right path. I have a Guru who can assist me in creation and a web design student who is keen to come on board for this project.

I am envisioning a website with news updates, blogs, links etc with attached forums for all to use. Keep in mind this project will start relatively small but we are planning for numbers and success. So, please keep you thoughts and ideas coming!

One thing that I always have trouble with at the beginning of a project is naming it. So this leads to you peeps shouting out some ideas of your own.

What will the new site be called? Throw me a frickin' bone here people....give me some starters.

Call it... Shamus' mother, then everyone can access it on the night shift.

But seriously now, I'd go with something like sanctum or vestige, or even No Clintons.
Ahhh, Clinton, what a twat.

I can see the re-arranging but I dislike the way this theme displays it. I may have a fiddle and then do something with it.
