[OOC] OK, so we are clear. I have now successfully cracked the FTL Matrixware Power Suite (Analyze 3, Browse 4, Command 2, Edit 4, Purge 4, Scan 2) and the Tacsoft 2 programs and copied them into each runners commlink. Tacsoft rating 2 in particular will be useful to all of us.
"Shagrat, I've cracked and copied your commlink's software so we can all leverage its use and so I can continue to improve it later. Dash and Canyon, I've already taken the liberty of loading the softare into your commlinks but I haven't rebooted them yet. I would do that as soon as you can.

The spell Shagrat is intending to cast is resisted by intuition rather then willpower, so it creates a clever illusion to trick an observer rather then trying to force an observers mind into believing the casters altered reality.

Therefor in a situation where a thin human had been made to look like a muscly orc if an observer touched them it would likely trigger a further attempt to resist the illusion, due to the fact that the physical reality doesn't match the altered visual reality. Where as a muscly orc/human being made to look like a different muscly orc would be unlikely to trigger the resist attempt on touch as the physical reality and the altered are fairly similar.

this is basically what i was trying to get out with the examples of illusions youd be hard pressed to maintain, in my round about kinda way Razz

anyways seeing as though im a shit cracker.
im doing this

im going to copy bob.
im also going to edit the scripts of all the programs we have so they all work together.

desired result is to have it working in unison which allows for tacsoft optimization. or the equivalent of a spider network for the tacsoft to work from. everyone will know what the fuck we are doing and what we are up against. this is done by the agents sending and recieving data from the tacsoft and then working from a database of pooled information that allows the tacsoft to relay additional information to the players about the situation. also if the database does not have information the agents can then make a browser roll to search for relevant information.

so first the copy of bob

computer 3 + edit 5 (extended test complex action(nexus simple action))
ill just make two rolls and see where we get to.

1st roll

What you have just described is a tacsoft program. You have one of those. its rating 2. I have no idea what you are trying to achieve here.
