Ok After some extensive reading it seems that the electronic books are the "Revised 1e" rules, hence why there is no quick and the dead book and no deadlands core as all that was devided up into Marshals and players books. It apears that the books have been redone to include old errata + some errata that i wasn't awear of like the weapons speed thing.

I think to make things easier we will use the electronic rules as they are more widely availible.

Now in referance to Clems question about weapons speed, from what i can gather unless otherwise specified most things only take one action (ie card) to do. So all the weapons shoot at the same speed now, thou i notice alot of the weapons that used to be quicker have their RoF increased.

I recomend looking over your characters and compareing the feats and stuff to the eBokks then once your happy send it to me.

Doormatt, I'm gonna keep my cards ofcourse, but I'm gonna put up two characters for now.

Worst case scenario my first pick eats shit and dies, and I have a backup!

i have decided not to go with geezer doormatt.
i have devised a character with some purpose for being in california rather then just being there and given him some form of achievement to obtain.
i do wonder if in a later session i can obtain this hinderance to make my character build another place to reach for. would rather my character not be a dead guy with no purpose other then to eat the town. Smile

Just put up one, those cards you drew are for the first charcater that you enter play with. If she/he bites the dust then you will need to draw again for the second.

Generally when you get hindrances after the game has started you dont get the points for them but i will look into it for you.

Yes you do.

As per THIS POST in the character section the minimal amount of info you have to post is as follows;

Quote :
All players in the Deadlands game MUST do the following;

Create a NEW thread in this section of the forums with their characters Name as the title.
The first post of the topic must include -
Characters name or Alias that they are most commonly referred too by.
Name of the player.
A description of the character.
A portrait of the character. (full body or just head either is fine as is more then one)

If you want to post more info then that im fine with it but i can't help what the other players read.

hey matty,
sorry about not being online lately, been rather busy last week and a half. but i am settled in new place now, so will resume normal availability.
I was visiting JD today, and he got me to make a character while i was there, i shall post it in the character thread shortly.
Also I pulled a red joker and got mysterious past, so i will discuss that with you later.
Thanks
